We’re thrilled to announce that our animated music video, “A Whole Lot,” is now live and streaming on our Kingmakers Music YouTube channel!
Born from a powerful collaboration with the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), Hip Hop Public Health, and the Climate Mental Health Network, this project spotlights intergenerational storytellers against the urgent backdrop of climate justice. From our Kings Jahi and Jayydon’s first beat to the final storyboard, “A Whole Lot” exemplifies the creative power of teamwork.
Kings Jahi and Jayydon worked together in the studio to develop the song’s themes and verses. The entire track was created in-house before being handed off to Theo Hollingsworth, who assembled an exceptional animation team. Theo, alongside storyboard artist Chase, animator Omar, and creative lead Joey, elevated Jahi and Jayydon’s vision into vibrant animated form.
This project is more than just a song—it’s an intergenerational call to action. Rap legend Jahi and student Jayydon underscore that climate change transcends age—it’s our shared challenge and collective responsibility. The video amplifies achievable climate actions like recycling, biking instead of driving, and keeping the conversation going—demonstrating how small choices can create community-wide impact.
We’re especially proud of how this partnership amplifies youth voices, empowering our Kings to address real-world issues through art and leadership.
“A Whole Lot” is now live on Kingmakers Music’s YouTube channel—and it’s more than entertainment; it’s a catalyst for change. This project invites educators, families, and communities to pause, reflect, and join the conversation. Watch the video, share it with loved ones, and help us turn awareness into action!
