Hiero Day began as a day of celebration from fans on September 3rd (9/3), a nod to 93 ’til Infinity, to listen to and appreciate Hieroglyphics’ music. Following suit, the collective responded to the fans with HIERO DAY! 2012 marked the first year of what now has become an annual celebration, showcasing a plethora of culture, talent, and a variety of the best local food/crafts available in the greater Bay Area.
Hiero Day plays an integral role in the Oakland music‑festival culture that exists in the city today. It is recognized for fostering a unifying atmosphere while maintaining a commitment to groundbreaking music and community development.
We are honored to partner with this event that has uplifted Oakland’s community for over a decade and has brought so much joy to Oakland’s community. This year, we’re hosting “Kings in the Making: Bring on the Drums” in collaboration with them as part of their string of weekend events—ones that unite people through joy, positivity, music, small local businesses, and the essence of Oakland culture. Hiero Day has become a safe and welcoming space for so many in our community over the years, and we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate together!
