On June 10th, we had the Seattle Crowning Ceremony which was co-hosted by Seattle Public Schools and their team. We had delicious food provided, a powerful libation and drumming.
Our Seattle Public School Partners guided us throughout a fishbowl discussion with some Kings from our Seattle classes. They talked about the impact of their facilitators and the MDP classes and urged more schools to get involved with the program.
These Kings have built such a strong connection and bond with one another and it showed! Many Kings and their families attended and cheered on one another as they received their crowns. It was a joyous evening for all who attended.
Much appreciation to our Brother AD, Sis Angeli, our Media Team and KOO staff as well as our district partners for helping put these amazing ceremonies together over the last few months.
