This September, we are honored to announce that Kingmakers of Oakland CEO, Chris Chatmon, will be a featured speaker at the 6th Annual Native Youth School and Community Wellness Conference!
Hosted in partnership with Two Feathers and Stanford Medicine, this powerful gathering is centered around a vital theme: "Supporting Native and Young Men of Color". The conference is dedicated to advancing mental health and wellness among Native youth through culturally grounded dialogue, shared experiences, and evidence-informed practices.
Chris will be speaking virtually on Thursday morning, September 24th, bringing the Kingmakers methodology into a broader, nationally recognized conversation about empowering young men of color. He joins an incredible lineup of locally and nationally recognized speakers who will tackle crucial topics like student wellness, trauma-informed education, and mentorship for Native boys and young men.
