Student of the month: Lucinda Latta

I am excited to recognize Lucinda Latta from West Oakland Middle School (W.O.M.) as this month’s Student of the Month. Lucinda has shown remarkable dedication and creative growth, never missing a single class and consistently showing up ready to learn. Her openness to feedback has truly set her apart. She embraced every suggestion and used it to push her creativity further.

Throughout the month, Lucinda approached each assignment with curiosity and an open mind, experimenting with new ideas and techniques. This commitment resulted in a strong, thoughtful portfolio that highlights both her talent and her willingness to grow. Her positive attitude and steady participation helped create a supportive and focused classroom environment, inspiring her peers to remain engaged as well.

I am incredibly proud of Lucinda’s progress and the bright energy she brings to our program. Her growth this month has been impressive, and we look forward to seeing her continue to shine. Congratulations, Lucinda!
