The Future is in Focus: 2026 Student Showcase & TFI Celebration
This April, the brilliance of our Kings takes center stage. We are thrilled to invite you to the 2026 Kingmakers of Oakland Student Showcase on Saturday, April 18th, at the iconic BLOC15 in Downtown Oakland.
While the Showcase has long been a highlight of our Spring Symposium, this year we are giving it its own spotlight. Our Kings will be presenting the culmination of their year’s work, spanning creative media from KOOLabs, leadership projects, and community-driven solutions.
A major highlight of this year’s event is a special tribute to our graduating seniors within The Fellowship Initiative (TFI). Sponsored by JPMorgan Chase, TFI is our intensive college access and leadership program. These young men have spent the last few years preparing for this moment, and as they prepare to cross the high school finish line, we are coming together to celebrate their persistence, academic excellence, and bright futures.
This isn’t just an event; it’s a movement in motion. It’s an opportunity to see what happens when we build systems that love our children back and provide them with the platform to lead.
