This Giving Tuesday: Ignite Change for Our Kings
Every November, as we embrace community, Giving Tuesday calls us to shift gears from what we acquire to what we give. At Kingmakers of Oakland, we see this day as more than a fundraiser. It is a moment to invest in legacy, leadership, and the limitless potential of our young Kings.
Why now matters:
Black boys and young men remain among society’s most underserved. Systems were not built for their brilliance to flourish, yet time and again, they rise when supported by culture, community, and care. Your donation this Giving Tuesday fuels that ecosystem by creating safe spaces, affirming mentors, leadership labs, and creative pipelines.
Our goal:
We are raising $50,000 to power the full spectrum of Kingmakers of Oakland programs, including academic and emotional support, leadership development, cultural enrichment, and storytelling. These funds will directly support the environments where our Kings discover their voice, strengthen their identity, and step confidently into their purpose.
