King of the month: Kaiden Taylor

Each month, we take a moment to celebrate a King who exemplifies the brilliance, dedication, and leadership that define our community. For April, we are incredibly proud to spotlight Kaiden Taylor, a standout member of our current The Fellowship Initiative (TFI) cohort. As Kaiden prepares to transition from high school to the university stage, his journey serves as a powerful reminder of what happens when preparation meets opportunity

From the very beginning, Kaiden has carried himself with a rare kind of intentionality. He doesn't just show up, he shows up ready. Ready to learn, ready to grow, ready to ask the questions that others might hold back. On every college tour, Kaiden sat in the front row of every presentation. He asked thoughtful questions. And perhaps most powerfully, he saw himself on every single campus we visited.

"I failed, but it's ok. At least I tried." Kaiden Taylor

That mindset says everything. Kaiden doesn't shrink in the face of difficulty, he reframes it. His hunger for knowledge, resources, support, and self-improvement is undeniable, and it has shown in every aspect of his journey. He knows his strengths, he knows his areas of growth, and he holds both with equal clarity and grace.

What makes Kaiden's story even more extraordinary is how he has advocated for himself, defining what success means on his own terms, refusing to let any obstacle break him down, and consistently choosing a positive attitude when it would be easier not to. He is aligned academically and personally, and that alignment is evident in everything he does.

Behind Kaiden stands a beautiful family that has poured immeasurably into him. And Kaiden doesn't carry their legacy as a burden. He carries it as a privilege. That distinction matters. It speaks to his maturity, his gratitude, and his understanding of what this journey is truly about.

The results speak for themselves: a 4.0 GPA at the close of high school, a 3.6 or above in every semester of our program, and acceptances from over 15 universities and colleges. But the numbers are only part of the story. The real testament is who Kaiden is and who he's still becoming.

Congratulations, Kaiden. We see you. We celebrate you. And we are blessed to be a part of your journey. Keep going, King. The world is waiting for you.
