Recruitment Season Is Here!
Kingmakers of Oakland is officially in recruitment season, and we want to make sure every student and family in our community knows what is available to them.
Right now, our team is visiting schools, meeting with students, and spreading the word about our free programs designed to help Black boys and young men learn, create, connect, and prepare for their future.
Our current programs include:
TFI: Our four-year college readiness and youth development program
Sankofa Kings: Technology, career exposure, and leadership development
KOO Labs: Creative classes and hands-on opportunities for students to explore their interests
At Kingmakers, we center Black boys while serving all students. We believe Black boys are beautiful, brilliant, and possess innate greatness, and we create programs that give young people the resources, relationships, and opportunities to recognize and build on that greatness.
And we want to bring these opportunities directly to your school.
If you’ve already seen us at your school, we’re glad we connected! If you haven’t, let us know you want Kingmakers to visit. School outreach is an important part of making sure students know these resources exist and understand that they were created with their growth, creativity, and future in mind.
These programs are here for you, Oakland. Help us spread the word.
