Student(s) of the Month: Music Production Class

When I was asked to nominate one of my kings for Student of the Month, I sat and thought for a long time. Every time I thought of one king, I also thought of the next, and the next, until I realized I couldn't choose just one. Every single student in my Music Production class deserves to be recognized.

Each student is brilliant and talented in their own way. They bring creativity, dedication, and originality to everything they do, whether they're producing music, engineering recordings, writing lyrics, or performing. One of the most rewarding parts of this year has been watching them grow as artists while learning to support one another. They understand that celebrating someone else's success does not diminish their own. Instead, they push each other to become even better.

This class is especially meaningful to me because the KOO Labs Summer Intensive program means I get to see my students every day and witness their growth. Students are given the opportunity to pursue their own creative vision while I guide them in developing the professional skills needed to succeed. Many of them came into the class already creating music, and it has been exciting to see them build on that passion and take their work to the next level.

What stands out most is their enthusiasm. They show up ready to create, eager to learn, and committed to growing both individually and as a team. Their creativity and dedication to their craft genuinely inspire me because it makes me want to get up and get to work so I can continue to be better for them. I am incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.
