As the Founder and CEO of Kingmakers of Oakland, I stand firm in our belief that Black boys are not just beautiful and brilliant, but they possess an innate greatness that propels them toward extraordinary heights. With this conviction as our guiding light, we celebrate Black History not just for a fleeting month, but as an integral part of our daily journey.
In our quest for empowerment and reclamation, we draw upon the profound wisdom encoded within our DNA – the Ancestral Intelligence (AI) that pulses through our veins. Rooted in the enduring legacy of our African ancestors, this reservoir of knowledge, spirit, and soul spans centuries, offering a roadmap for progress and resilience.
While the world marvels at the advancements of Artificial Intelligence (AI), we understand that true enlightenment transcends mere algorithms and computations. Ancestral Intelligence knows no bounds, weaving together the threads of our cultural heritage to illuminate our path forward. It also honors our relationship with the earth and the universe.
During Black History Month, we pay homage to the fearless leaders who blazed trails of courage and resilience. From the visionary Marcus Garvey to the indomitable Harriet Tubman, from the unyielding advocacy of Ida B. Wells to the transformative leadership of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr., their legacies continue to inspire and guide us.
Yet, let us not confine our celebration to a single month, for Black history pulses through the veins of every day. It is a living testament to our resilience and fortitude, calling upon us to build upon the foundation of Ancestral Intelligence and forge a future of equity and empowerment. Join us on this journey as we honor our past, embrace our present, and chart a course toward a brighter tomorrow.
